Three extraordinary women from Gaza have done something almost impossible.
But time is running out. They have until September 1 to secure their tuition. Without the funds, these hard-earned university places, and the futures they represent, could be lost before the academic year even begins.
After surviving displacement, bombardment, and years of interrupted education, they have each earned places at leading UK universities. These offers represent far more than postgraduate degrees—they are a chance to heal, rebuild, and create futures that war tried to take from them.
Meet the students
Samar is an English teacher and talented poet with a love of linguistics. She dreams of becoming a researcher and educator, using her studies and poetry to amplify Palestinian voices and shape future generations.
Razan is an author, editor, entrepreneur, and community leader who has survived repeated displacement. She seeks to use her studies to rebuild communities through innovation, leadership, and peacebuilding.
Seba taught English before becoming a translator in a field hospital, helping patients and international medical teams communicate during one of the darkest periods of her life. She now hopes to design trauma-informed education systems for children whose schooling has been interrupted by conflict.
Each of these women has spent years serving their communities despite unimaginable hardship. Now, they are asking for something profoundly simple: the chance to continue their education in safety.
